    Yes, I can honestly say I can lay brick better than Churchill, he is making a big fat mess.

    Yes.  I put up a Brick wall on my patio and along the front of my house.  I've also topped the block wall between my lower front yard and my driveway (which I put in) with brick, as well as the path to my shed.

    Yes, not to build a wall but to make a brick terrace.  We got the bricks for free at the site of an old hotel demolition.

    Old bricks are the best. We still have a few brick roads over a hundred years old still intact.

    We still have some here too.  In my hometown there are many streets that are still brick.  People seem to love that.  If you are familiar with the Old Dixie Highway, it was built in late  1800s/early 1900s to be a road from Miami to Montreal and sections of it were called different things as the road moved north from Florida.  It is called the Lincoln highway at one point.  That's all I remember about that.   The brick in the two states I've actually seen the road (Alabama and Florida)  were made in my hometown, Birmingham, and that's engraved into the brick.  Americans have always been ambitious with  grand dreams. 

    Today's dreams are and are not so grand, depending on the definition you use (big or good).
