    My actuarial numeracy has not deserted me. For a UK male of my age, life expectancy is almost exactly 10 yrs. For Scots it's nearer 9.5 yrs. I have diabetes but consider myself fit for my age (eg I stil cycle on a push bike most days).

    I have no plan to leave so soon.  I also know I don't control it either.

    When you say "here," do you mean alive or on AnswerMug?

    If the first, I would be 88, so it's a possibility.  Both my parents were 93 when they died.

    If the second, probably not.
