How do you know if you miss a person, or just miss the way they make you feel?

    Missing a person is also missing how they made me feel. That's a huge part of what they were to me.

  • Hmm...  That's a good question.  I guess one way might be whether you think about what they are doing as opposed to how they are doing.

  • Well, if you're wondering how they are doing it shows to me that you are concerned about their happiness and well being.  The person.
    If you're  only concerned about what they are doing then you may not be really emotionally involved with their happiness and well being.  Of course that's not to say it's one or the other.
    At least that's the idea I'm trying to get at.  Might not be the best way of expressing what I'm trying to get at.
