Does the color of your vehicle matter a lot to you?

I've never bought a new car so when I find a vehicle I like then color does not matter too much.
My preferred color would be silver/grey. Black would be my least choice.

Yes, I like driving a red vehicle.  I just bought a new car that is grey brown, just depends on the light.  I didn't buy it for the color.  It was a good price and I needed a small vehicle.  Grey is the least safe color car to drive.  Red, white, and yellow are the safest.  By safe it is meant that you are visible to other drivers.  Grey is the same color as the road so at dusk and dawn it is hardest to see.

I prefer lighter colors, white being my top choice.

  • The color does mean a lot to me.  IMO, the color can make or break how a car looks.  And .. some colors, like black, always show the dirt and imperfections .. so it can always look messy to me.

I've never had a choice really, just what I could afford.  Maybe a gold or copper color to match my coloring.  I like the country blue, only a certain color though it is new and I've only seen it on a couple of vehicles.  IDK I guess I'd have to sit in them all to see what I like the best.

I do not like white colored cars.
    My favorite is metallic teal-blue.

Don't move to Arizona.  Black attracts heat.

I agree: I've been attracting heat for years now.

My last three cars have been metallic beige and that is the best color for me. It doesn't fade and never looks dirty. I want to buy a new car but this year they are not making them in my preferred color so I am waiting to see what happens next year.

My car is silver gray.  It's a color I like and I will have less trouble selling it than if it was magenta.

If you wipe the dust off one side of a black car it will be dusty again before you can wipe the other side.

    Yes.
White stays up to 10ºC cooler when the car is left parked in the hot summer sun.
And white shows up best at dusk and at night.

I'd never buy a car of any colour other than white.
