She works at a tennis club that I clean. My ex is a bitch, too, but she is a Brenda.

    "Happy Birthday!!"  ;)  ;)

All I know at the moment is that I recently held 'my' wondrous cat Karen in my arms as she was put down. She lived with me for 13 years -- I don't know how old she was when I 'rescued' her. She was an adult then, though.

    I miss her terribly.

(And that line up there- - my favorite line in Frosty)

My sincere condolences on your loss of Karen. I know that your pets are family as are mine. ((Hugs))

Yes, I do love the way Frosty says 'Happy Birthday'!

I didn’t know the “Karen“ thing was still a thing lol. Thought that was a 2016 fad that died out years ago. I’m not keeping up with current events I guess! Glad you’re happily busy and hope you had a great holiday! ❤️

I saw something here about "Karens" recently. Which doesn't mean much, does it? Sounds right that 2016 fads are current here. Hehe.

Wonderful holiday here. Hope you enjoyed the same. Happy New Year!

Never mind 2016, fads from 1816 are still relevant for one or two on here.

Don't tell me you believe the Battle of Waterloo wasn't rigged. Wake up -- the Whigs want you to think muskets kill people. Nobody's taking my cannons.

Oh, great . . . based on the image,  I now have a crush on Jesus.  :)   No disrespect meant.
I am a believer and I admit I've always thought about that Jesus spent much of his adult life hanging with 12 other men.

That is Max von Sydow.  Here is a shot of him in Robin Hood with Russell Crow in 2010.  The Greatest Story Ever Told is from 1965.   He was truly an artist.

Oh, wow, yeah - I know of von Sydow. Just didn't click.

    I agree with you, too.
And I've noticed his looks before, too. :) This post was edited by WelbyQuentin at January 2, 2024 4:06 PM MST

I've watched no movie of any kind this weekend.

That scene you posted in your question contains my very favorite line in the entire movie,
    'The Mother' then says,
"Put your arms down when you get to school."

SOOOOOOOO funny to me. Actress Melinda Dillon's "Mother" is my favorite character in the movie.
I like the movie a lot. :)   And I really like Melinda Dillon in every  movie I've seen with her in it.

I've yet to tire of watching "A Christmas Story."
