You have used the “m” word. I just can’t roll with you any more. Grrrrrrrrrr.

Well R. Loverboy. It just happens to be that if you add a big dab of olive oil based M to M&C, it takes out the acute tartness of of the C. This post was edited by CosmicWunderkind at February 1, 2024 12:25 PM MST

Why, it's perfect as it is!

Sometimes I don't even add the mac.

    Yes.
Very close to another answer I was considering - - "macaroni and cheese".
"As it is" is great to me, too.

      *On the telephone:

Internal Affairs? I’m concerned that my previous partner has turned dirty and is no longer diligently enforcing the grammar laws in the same manner he was accustomed to when we worked together. He may be working for the errorists, perhaps his financials need to be investigated or you could tail him for a while to find out his contacts in the underworld. Am I willing to wear a wire to get him on record? Sure, but even though we used to be partners, he’s changed a lot since the split, I know he won’t speak freely around me. Grrrrrrrrrr.

My husband would like that. I only eat breaded and deep fried shrimp.

I cannot stand the sight or smell of mac and cheese, let alone the taste and texture. I don't think there is anything I  could put in it to make want to eat it.
