I realize this is under "Humor and Jokes" category but my a-ha moment will always be hearing this song when it came out, and seeing the music video.

    a-ha "Take on Me"

I was impacted immediately and I still love the song, group, and video. :)

Loved the song back in the day, still love it, great video as well, definitely speaks to me.  :  )
Unfortunately I had an Ah Ha moment later in the evening.

I really like the song, too, :)

I hope your evening chilled out eventually in a good way for you.

The most recent that comes to mind is telling the roofers I need them to do something.  Their unison response was 'no English.'  I then told them must come with me right now and move their ladder away from my terrace/pavers.  I immediately heard 'no way, no we don't, not, etc.'  Aha!!!   So you do speak English.  Now, go move your ladder now.  NOW!  I walked away and ran right into the general contractor.  Guess what...

Lol. Prob much easier to claim they do not understand than argue with people.

Nothing to argue about.  They had already caused damage to my terrace due to the weight on the ladder.  Trust me, the contractor is repairing it and he said he would be reimbursed by the roofing company.

Yes but "No English" means I don't have to talk to you. This post was edited by my2cents at February 22, 2024 5:48 AM MST

Used to worry about my BFF spending a lot of time at home and possibly in his own head, too much, he needed a hobby I thought.  He has a very worthy hobby and it's such a relief to know he is out and about.  :  )
