    Great voice.   Good song.   This is one of my least favorite songs by Sting, but it does have New York in it.

  • One of my fav songs.. I was a huge fan of Kirsty MacColl - i believe the Pogues was the original... as in they wrote it... the singer drinks like a total fish but is very, very talented...

    I love the reciprocity of this version.. 

    I dont know what you know about the song but it's sooooooo famous in the UK that its played everywhere in the UK at christmas... lol even posh department stores.. always makes me laugh...

  • 18 December 16 years ago is the date of her death, so I thought it appropriate, if a little late.

    And the Pogues.... well.  Given the lyrics, Shane Patrick Lysaght MacGowan has certainly lived the song.  :)
