    Good question, it's like an unwritten law or something. A perfect example of the preferential treatment is in the sentencing of the murderers, if you kill a cop you get an automatic death sentence, if us folk get killed the murderer might get only 7 years, maybe 25, but in State prison doing 1/2 time they're out in 14, lol.
