Do you ever make decisions based on a gut feeling?

Would a gut feeling be enough for you to make a decision that might appear irrational? For example not getting on a plane because you have a bad feeling about it at the last minute

    Most of my decisions are based on gut feelings, simply because I am very indecisive, so it's easier to just listen to how I feel about something...  I do know too that often when I don't listen to my gut instincts and don't act on them it's usually a bad thing, something bad happens.
